Also you can walk through a beautiful garden of UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Himeji Castle. Enjoy cherry blossoms in spring or colored leaves in autumn. ASICS is a world-known sports brand, and their head office is in Kobe city. You can learn the history of ASICS at the museum. There are shoes and sports equipments on display which are actually used by world's top athletes. It is allowed to touch the displays, why not hold them in your hand and see how it feels? Former Foreign Settlement in Kobe is where foreigners resided when Kobe Port opened in 1868. There are many Western-style buildings remained here that are constructed out of brick and stone. Currently this place is known as influential fashion district in Kobe. There are many well-known brand shops, clothing stores, and sweets shops. Please try Kobe Beef for lunch.

Marine Pia Kobe

Mitsui Outlet Park Marine Pia Kobe is an outlet mall close by the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge, great place to shop for Japanese and overseas brand goods. The buildings are styled as a port town somewhere in the south Europe. The complex includes plenty of restaurants, so this is a fun spot for lunch or dinner too.

Maiko Marine Promenade, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge

Akashi Kaikyo Bridge is the world's longest suspension bridge of 3,911m in total length, which links Awaji Island to Kobe. Maiko Marine Promenade is an observation facility bulit inside of Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. There is a glass flooring that you can see through the ships come and go, and also an observation camera system which makes you feel like you’re on top of the bridge’s 300-meter-high main tower. You can enjoy various scenary of Akashi Channel.

Awaji Hana Sajiki

Awaji Hana Sajiki Garden is located on a hilly area in the North of Awaji Island. A vast flower garden at an elevation of 298 to 235 meters spreads to plateau towards the ocean. You can enjoy an expansive panorama of flowers against Akashi Channel and Osaka Bay, and these pretty flowers create a dreamlike world. The flowers in bloom change by each seasons, from field mustard in spring, sunflowers in summer and cosmos in autumn, to hoary stock in winter.

Himeji Castle

Himeji Castle is the first Japanese World Cultural Heritage Site registered by UNESCO, and recognized worldwide. It's one of the most beautiful castle in Japan, and often called as 'Shirasagi-jo' (White Heron Castle) because of its white plastered walls. After the 5-year restoration work, the castle was fully reopened in March 2015. The scenery from Tenshukaku (castle tower) is picturesque. A guided tour for foreign tourists is available free of charge.

Koko-en

Koko-en is a 3.5-hectare park with 9 different Japanese gardens located inside Himeji Castle. You can take a walk in traditional Japanese gardens. Famed for its beauty of cherry blossoms in the spring and autumn colored leaves, this park is an ideal place to enjoy four seasons in Japan and popular with visitors throughout a year. There is a restaurant inside the park, as well as a teahouse where you can enjoy matcha green tea and Japanese sweets.
