Kunio Yanagida and Matsuoka-ke Family Memorial Museum
(柳田國男生家・記念館)

It is the text from here.

Kunio Yanagita (1875–1962) born in Fukusaki-cho, was one of the most well-known folklorist in Japan. The house where he was born still stands, preserving distinctive features of Japanese old houses. Next to the house is a memorial museum where you can learn about Yanagita’s life and works. In the pond nearby Tsujikawayama Park there is a doll of kappa, river monsters of Japanese lore that are featured in Yanagida's writings.
