Entsu-ji Temple

Entsu-ji Temple was established in 1382 by the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu. Famed for the beautiful autumn colored leaves, this temple is listed as one of the 'Tamba Koyo Sanzan', three temples of red maple leaves in Tamba. Enjoy strolling through the temple precinct, with features such as the pond and main gate as well as the vivid reds of the turning leaves. Also this place is famous for cherry blossoms and skunk cabbage in spring, and hydrangea in the early summer.
